Mingma Gyabu Sherpa, 31 years old climber from Taplejung district in eastern Nepal has set the new world record as a youngest person to complete all 14 highest peaks in the world , according to the Guinness World Records.

Mingma set this world record by the age of 30 years 166 days. His first ascent was Everest on 23 May 2010 and his last was Shisha Pangma on 29 October 2019.

The project took Mingma Gyabu 9 years 159 days to complete. He also holds the world record for the fastest time to climb Everest and K2, conquering both mountains in just 61 days 55 minutes, using supplementary oxygen, as stated on the GWR website.
